Ethan, I am not familiar with your work, though it seems clear you are successful, and that is good. I read your piece here because Medium suggested it to me, and the title was provocative: I could not resist.

I too have had the good fortune of being successful in art. And I have a unique position point on this matter.

First of all, the fact is, when it comes to climate change, we are well over the figurative precipice. Existentially, we are now hurtling to the hard ground.

Interestingly, there is discussion about this! People argue, climate change is not what scientists say it is! Or, there is discussion if climate change is [something other than what it is]. In any case, that all prevents meaningful reparation to slow or stop climate change.

Therefore (and here is my proposal), if we genuinely want to change the impending outcome, we can only speed up the rate at which we are heading to the hard ground.

Because the solution is not to stop the ground from coming — we are over the cliff, that’s not an option — it is to invent wings.

NFTs are wonderful. And the technology is not going away. Why should it? We love our digital art!

We must produce NFTs and use crypto because the presence of real challenge will trigger the creativity for us as a species to need to create essential solutions.

If we do not, the world will continue its consistent motion, and this will move us all gradually from simmer to a boil. Like a frog in pot that is coming to a boil slowly, it will be too late.

Turn up the heat fast, however, and soon everyone will get to jumping.

I’m complete.
